Egg Incubation
Egg incubation is the process of maintaining optimal temperature, humidity, and ventilation conditions to ensure a fertilized egg develops into a healthy hatchling. This typically involves placing eggs in a controlled environment, such as an incubator, which mimics the natural conditions provided by a brooding parent. During incubation, key factors like temperature (usually around 99-102°F), humidity levels, and regular turning are carefully managed to support embryo growth. After a specific period, depending on the species, the chick or hatchling pecks its way out of the shell, completing the incubation process.
