Edwin Powell Hubble

Edwin Powell Hubble was an American astronomer who made groundbreaking contributions to our understanding of the universe in the early 20th century. He is best known for demonstrating that the Milky Way is just one of many galaxies and for formulating Hubble's Law, which states that galaxies are moving away from us, indicating that the universe is expanding.
