Ecological Model

The Ecological Model is a way of understanding how various factors influence an individual's behavior and health. It considers multiple levels, such as personal beliefs and skills, relationships with family and friends, community resources and norms, organizational settings, and broader societal policies. These interconnected levels shape choices and opportunities. By recognizing these layers, interventions can be designed more effectively to promote positive health behaviors, taking into account not just the individual but the environment and social systems around them.
