Eastern Conference
The Eastern Conference is one of two divisions in the National Basketball Association (NBA), the premier professional basketball league in the United States. It comprises 15 teams from the eastern part of the country, competing throughout the season to qualify for the playoffs. The conference features several well-known franchises, including the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and Chicago Bulls. Teams earn standings based on their win-loss records, and the best teams compete for the conference championship. The Eastern Conference champion then faces the Western Conference champion in the NBA Finals for the league title.
