East Bengal and Assam
East Bengal, historically part of the Bengal region, is now largely incorporated into Bangladesh, known for its rich cultural heritage, rivers, and Bengali-speaking population. Assam is a state in northeastern India, recognized for its diverse landscapes, including tea gardens, forests, and the Brahmaputra River, with a mix of ethnic groups and languages. While East Bengal (Bangladesh) is an independent country, Assam is a distinct Indian state with its own unique identity and regional issues. Both regions contribute significantly to South Asian culture and history through their landscapes, traditions, and histories.
