Ear diseases

Ear diseases include a variety of conditions affecting the outer, middle, or inner ear. Common issues are infections like otitis media (middle ear infection) and otitis externa (swimmer’s ear), causing pain, hearing loss, or discharge. Hearing loss can also result from age-related changes, earwax buildup, or nerve problems. Tinnitus, a ringing or buzzing in the ear, is another condition. Vertigo, dizziness caused by inner ear issues, may also occur. Many ear diseases are manageable with medical treatment, but prompt care is important to prevent further hearing impairment or complications.
