Dynamic apnea

Dynamic apnea is a freediving discipline where a person dives horizontally underwater for the maximum distance possible on a single breath, without using breathing apparatus. It involves holding your breath while swimming in a pool or open water, emphasizing techniques to maximize efficiency and oxygen conservation. The challenge is to glide as far as you can beneath the surface, pushing the limits of breath-holding capacity and physical endurance, often with safety measures in place. It combines elements of snorkeling, swimming, and breath control, testing both mental focus and physical fitness.
