Dutch resistance
The Dutch resistance was a group of individuals and organizations in the Netherlands who opposed and defied Nazi occupation during World War II. They engaged in activities like hiding Jewish people, producing underground newspapers, sabotaging German supplies, and helping Allied soldiers. Their efforts aimed to undermine Nazi control, save lives, and maintain Dutch cultural and political identity. Though risky and often secret, their resistance played a significant role in resisting oppression and supporting the broader Allied effort to defeat the Nazis.
