Duckworth–Lewis method

The Duckworth–Lewis method is a mathematical approach used in cricket to fairly determine the target score when a limited-overs game is interrupted by weather or other delays. It calculates a revised target based on the number of overs remaining and wickets lost, reflecting the team's potential to score in the remaining play.
