Duchenne Parent Project
The Duchenne Parent Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a genetic condition causing progressive muscle weakness primarily in boys. The organization funds research to find treatments and works to improve quality of life for patients. It also provides information, resources, and emotional support to families navigating the challenges of the disease. Its goal is to accelerate scientific advances toward effective therapies and ultimately a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
