DreamWorks Records
DreamWorks Records was a music label founded in 1997 by Hollywood filmmakers Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, and David Geffen. It aimed to create a diverse roster of artists and offered a unique approach to music management, blending entertainment and creative vision. The label signed various successful artists across different genres. However, after facing challenges in a competitive music industry, it was eventually absorbed into Universal Music Group in 2003, marking the end of its independent operation while allowing its artists to continue under a larger label umbrella.
