Douglas Engelbart

Douglas Engelbart was an American engineer and inventor best known for his pioneering work in human-computer interaction. In the 1960s, he developed the first computer mouse and introduced concepts like video conferencing, hypertext, and collaborative software. Engelbart envisioned computers as tools to enhance human capability and collective problem-solving. His 1968 demonstration, which showcased these innovations, is often referred to as "The Mother of All Demos."
