Domestic Extremism

Domestic extremism refers to the rise of individuals or groups within a country that engage in violent or illegal activities motivated by extreme political, social, or ideological beliefs. Unlike terrorism that may target foreign entities, domestic extremism focuses on issues within a nation, such as racial supremacy, radical political movements, or anti-government sentiments. These extremists may use violence, intimidation, or disruption to achieve their goals, often posing a threat to public safety and societal stability. Authorities monitor and respond to such activities to prevent harm and protect democratic values and civil order.
