Doctrine of the Church
The Doctrine of the Church refers to the set of beliefs and teachings that define the nature, purpose, and authority of the Church. It explains what the Church is (the community of believers), its mission (to worship God and spread His message), and how it functions spiritually and organizationally. Essentially, it provides guidance on what the Church teaches, its role in salvation, and how members are expected to live out their faith within the community. These doctrines unify believers in shared understanding and support the Church’s mission in the world.
