Dobrotitsa
Dobrotitsa was a 14th-century Bulgarian nobleman and ruler of the Dobruja region, an area now split between Bulgaria and Romania. He was the leader of the autonomous Principality of Karvuna and known for his military skill and diplomatic efforts to maintain independence amid larger neighboring powers like the Ottoman Empire and Byzantine Empire. Dobrotitsa effectively governed through strategic alliances and fortified his territory, making Dobruja a significant regional power during his time. His leadership helped preserve Bulgarian cultural identity in the region and left a lasting legacy in Balkan history.
