DMARC
DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) is a security policy that helps protect email senders and recipients from fraud and phishing. It allows domain owners to specify how receiving mail servers should handle messages that fail authentication checks—such as marking them as spam or rejecting them outright. DMARC works alongside SPF and DKIM, which verify the sender's identity. By implementing DMARC, organizations can reduce the risk of unauthorized use of their domain in malicious emails, ensuring that only legitimate messages are delivered, and gaining insights through reports on email activity.
