Djibouti Agreement

The Djibouti Agreement was a peace deal signed in 2008 to end the conflict in Sudan's Darfur region. It involved the Sudanese government and rebel groups agreeing to cease hostilities, monitor and reduce armed forces, and work toward peaceful reconciliation. The agreement aimed to bring stability, protect civilians, and promote political dialogue. It was facilitated by international actors, including the United Nations and the African Union, to support peace efforts and ensure compliance with negotiated terms.
