Diversity Visa Lottery

The Diversity Visa Lottery is a U.S. program designed to promote immigration from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States. Each year, 50,000 visas are randomly awarded to applicants from eligible countries, allowing them and their families to apply for permanent residency (Green Cards).
