Discharge by Performance
Discharge by performance refers to the completion of obligations as outlined in a contract. When one or both parties fulfill their duties—such as delivering goods or services—they essentially "discharge" or end their responsibilities under that agreement. This means that once the terms have been met, neither party can claim further obligations related to that contract. It’s a way to officially conclude the agreement, signifying that all parties have done what they promised, releasing them from any ongoing duties.
