Diplodocus

Diplodocus was a large, herbivorous dinosaur that lived about 154 to 152 million years ago during the Late Jurassic period. Known for its extremely long neck and tail, it could reach over 80 feet in length and weigh up to 15-20 tons. Its elongated body helped it browse on tall trees and vegetation, while its whip-like tail may have been used for defense or communication. Diplodocus had a light, airy skeleton with many air spaces, making it lighter than its size suggests. Fossil discoveries have provided valuable insights into the diversity of prehistoric life and dinosaur evolution.
