Dinosauria

Dinosauria is a large group of reptiles that first appeared around 230 million years ago. They are characterized by certain skeletal features, such as an open hip socket, which allowed for efficient movement. Dinosaurs include a diverse range of species, from the massive, long-necked sauropods and terrifying predators like Tyrannosaurus rex, to the ancestors of birds. They thrived during the Mesozoic Era and are known for their evolutionary success and variety. Most importantly, birds are considered modern-day dinosaurs, sharing common ancestors with earlier species from this group.
