Digital Signal
A digital signal is a type of electronic signal that represents information using distinct, separate values—usually in the form of binary code consisting of 0s and 1s. Unlike analog signals that vary continuously, digital signals change in steps, making them more accurate, reliable, and easier to process. They are used in computers, smartphones, and digital audio/video devices to transmit data efficiently. Because digital signals can be easily stored, regenerated, and corrected for errors, they form the backbone of modern digital technology and communication systems.
