Dialysis equipment is a medical device used to mimic the kidney's function of filtering waste, excess fluid, and toxins from the blood when the kidneys can’t do so naturally. It typically consists of a machine, a dialyzer (artificial kidney), and tubes that connect to the patient’s blood vessels. During treatment, blood is drawn from the body, cleaned inside the dialyzer, and then returned.
