Dendritic cell therapy

Dendritic cell therapy is an innovative treatment that uses a patient’s own immune system to fight diseases like cancer. Dendritic cells are immune cells that help recognize and alert the body to harmful substances, including tumor cells. In this therapy, these cells are collected from the patient, then specially prepared or “trained” in the lab to enhance their ability to detect cancer. They are then injected back into the patient, where they stimulate other immune cells to attack and destroy the cancer. This approach aims to boost the body’s natural defenses in a targeted, personalized manner.
