Demagnetization Techniques

Demagnetization techniques involve reducing or eliminating residual magnetic fields in objects. This is often achieved through processes like AC demagnetization, where an alternating current is used to gradually weaken the magnetic field within the material, or through thermal methods like heating the object beyond its Curie point to disrupt its magnetic order, then cooling it in a non-magnetic environment. Mechanical methods such as striking or vibrating the material can also help realign magnetic domains to reduce overall magnetization. These methods are essential in industries like electronics, manufacturing, and maintenance to ensure tools and components do not retain unwanted magnetic properties.
