David Wechsler

David Wechsler was a prominent psychologist best known for developing widely-used intelligence tests, notably the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC). He sought to measure a variety of cognitive abilities beyond traditional IQ, including verbal comprehension, perceptual reasoning, working memory, and processing speed.
