David Walker (abolitionist)
David Walker was an influential African American abolitionist and writer in the early 19th century. Known for his powerful pamphlet, *Appeal to the Coloured Citizens of the World* (1829), he urged enslaved and free Black people to stand up against slavery and injustice. Walker advocated for immediate abolition and racial equality, inspiring others to resist oppression through activism and education. His work played a significant role in the anti-slavery movement, emphasizing dignity and human rights for all. Though he died shortly after publishing his appeal, his ideas continued to influence abolitionist efforts and the fight for racial justice.
