DARPANET
DARPANET was an early computer network developed in the late 1960s by the U.S. Department of Defense. It connected computers at different universities and research centers, allowing them to communicate and share information reliably. As the first operational packet-switching network, DARPANET laid the foundation for modern the internet. It demonstrated how decentralized and resilient communication could be achieved between multiple computers, transforming how information is exchanged across networks and enabling the global connectivity we experience today.
