Cyclone

A cyclone is a large-scale weather system characterized by intense low pressure, strong winds, and heavy rain. It forms over warm ocean waters, where the heat and moisture fuel the development of rotating storms. The system's rotation is driven by the Earth's Coriolis effect, causing it to spin around a calm center called the eye. Cyclones can cause severe flooding, wind damage, and storm surges when they make landfall. They are classified by their strength and wind speeds, with hurricanes and typhoons being regional names for similar storms in different parts of the world.
