CubeSats
CubeSats are small, standardized satellites typically measuring 10x10x10 centimeters, making them about the size of a shoe box. Designed for low-cost space missions, they are often built by universities, research institutions, and companies. CubeSats can carry various scientific instruments for Earth observation, space research, and technology testing. Their modular design allows for scalability; multiple CubeSats can be combined into a larger satellite configuration. Due to their affordability and ease of launch, CubeSats have become popular for educational purposes and for conducting experiments that were previously only feasible for larger satellites.
