Cryoextraction
Cryoextraction is a medical procedure used to remove abnormal tissue, such as tumors, by freezing it with extreme cold. A special probe is inserted into the targeted area, and liquid nitrogen or another cold substance cools the tissue rapidly, causing it to freeze and become brittle. Once frozen, the tissue is easily extracted, minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue. This technique is often used for precise removal of small tumors, especially in areas where delicate structures are involved, offering a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery.
