CPR Guidelines
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is an emergency procedure to help someone who has stopped breathing or whose heart has stopped. The guidelines recommend calling emergency services immediately, then starting chest compressions: push hard and fast in the center of the chest at about 100-120 compressions per minute, allowing the chest to fully recoil between pushes. If trained, provide rescue breaths—giving two breaths after every 30 compressions—until help arrives or the person recovers. Early CPR can maintain blood flow to vital organs and significantly increase survival chances until professional help takes over.
