Copeland's method
Copeland's method is a way to determine the best candidate in an election where candidates compete head-to-head. Each candidate is paired with every other candidate, and the winner of each matchup gets a point. If they tie, both get half a point. After all matchups, the candidate with the most points wins. This method emphasizes direct comparisons and helps identify candidates who perform well against all opponents, offering a straightforward approach to ranking preferences in a fair and consistent manner.
