Cooperative Foraging

Cooperative foraging refers to the behavior in which individuals from the same species work together to find and gather food. This strategy can increase efficiency, as groups can cover more ground, outmaneuver predators, and better share resources. Animals such as wolves, dolphins, and certain bird species often hunt or forage as a team, allowing them to tackle larger prey or exploit food sources that would be challenging for a single individual. This teamwork not only boosts their chances of success but also strengthens social bonds within the group.
