Cooperative economy

A cooperative economy is an economic system where businesses and organizations are owned and operated by their members—such as workers, consumers, or community members—who share in decision-making and profits. Unlike traditional companies driven primarily by profit for shareholders, cooperatives focus on serving their members' needs and promoting shared prosperity. This approach encourages collaboration, equitable distribution of resources, and community well-being.
