Contrast baths
Contrast baths involve alternating immersion of a limb in hot and cold water to improve circulation, reduce swelling, and promote healing. Typically, the affected area is submerged in warm water for about 3-4 minutes, then in cold water for 1 minute, repeating this cycle several times. The heat helps relax muscles and increase blood flow, while the cold reduces inflammation and numbs pain. This method can be beneficial for injuries, muscle soreness, or circulation issues, but should be done carefully and under guidance if necessary.
