Contract-Relax Method

The Contract-Relax Method is a stretching technique to improve muscle flexibility. It involves holding a stretch, then gently contracting the muscle being stretched for a few seconds, followed by relaxing and stretching further. The muscle's contraction signals the nervous system to temporarily relax the muscle, allowing for a deeper stretch. This cycle is repeated to gradually increase flexibility.
