Community of Latin American and Caribbean States
The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) is a regional organization established in 2010 to promote cooperation and integration among countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. CELAC aims to address common issues like economic development, social inclusion, and political stability while fostering dialogue and collaboration among member nations. Unlike some other organizations, it excludes the United States and Canada to focus on regional priorities. CELAC provides a platform for countries to work together to improve the lives of their citizens and tackle challenges such as poverty, education, and health care.
