Communist Internationale

The Communist Internationale, often called the Third International or Comintern, was an organization founded in 1919 by the Soviet Union to promote worldwide communist revolution. Its goal was to unite communist parties globally, encouraging them to overthrow capitalist governments and establish a socialist society based on Marxist principles. The Comintern provided ideological guidance, coordinated strategies, and supported revolutionary movements. It aimed to spread communism beyond Russia, fostering international solidarity among workers and oppressed peoples. The organization existed until 1943, when it was dissolved by the Soviet Union to improve diplomatic relations with Western countries during World War II.
