Cole Younger
Cole Younger was an American outlaw and a member of the infamous James-Younger Gang during the post-Civil War era. Born in 1844 in Missouri, he became known for bank and train robberies, often collaborating with the legendary Jesse James. The Younger brothers were notorious figures in the American West, symbolizing the era's lawlessness and resistance to authority. After being captured in a failed bank robbery in 1876, Cole was imprisoned for several years. He later sought a quieter life, eventually becoming a businessman and a civic leader in Missouri until his death in 1916.
