CoAP Publish-Subscribe

CoAP, or Constrained Application Protocol, is a communication protocol designed for small devices often used in the Internet of Things (IoT). In a Publish-Subscribe system using CoAP, devices (publishers) send data updates or messages about certain topics, while other devices (subscribers) express interest in those topics. Instead of each subscriber asking for updates individually, they receive notifications automatically when new information is published. This efficient method reduces network traffic and allows for real-time communication, making it especially useful for applications where devices need to share information quickly and reliably, such as smart homes or sensors.
