CNT-FAI (Confederación Nacional del Trabajo - Federación Anarquista Ibérica)
CNT-FAI is a historic Spanish organization combining the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT), a large anarcho-syndicalist labor union, with the Federación Anarquista Ibérica (FAI), an anarchist political group. It advocated for workers’ self-management, direct action, and abolition of hierarchical authority in society and workplaces. Formed in the early 20th century, CNT-FAI played a key role in Spain’s social and political upheavals, particularly during the Spanish Civil War, promoting anarchist ideals and revolutionary change through grassroots organization and workers’ solidarity.
