CMYK Colour Model
The CMYK color model is a method used in color printing that combines four inks—cyan, magenta, yellow, and black—to produce a wide range of colors. By varying the amount of each ink applied, printers can create different shades and tones on paper. Cyan, magenta, and yellow are primary colors in this process; black is added to enhance depth and detail. CMYK is subtractive, meaning it absorbs (subtracts) light, so when inks overlap, they produce darker or more complex colors, making it essential for high-quality printed materials.
