Clinical Lymphoma, Myeloma & Leukemia

Clinical lymphoma, myeloma, and leukemia are blood cancers that originate in different parts of the blood and immune system. Lymphomas affect lymph nodes and tissues, involving abnormal growth of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. Myeloma impacts plasma cells in the bone marrow, leading to weakened immunity and bone damage. Leukemia involves the rapid production of abnormal white blood cells in the bone marrow, crowding out healthy cells and impairing normal blood functions. While they differ in origin and behavior, all disrupt normal blood cell production and immune function, requiring specialized treatments tailored to each condition.
