Clan na Gael

Clan na Gael was an Irish nationalist organization formed in the late 19th century in the United States. Its goal was to support Irish independence from British rule through activism, fundraising, and sometimes militant actions. The organization attracted Irish immigrants who wanted to promote Irish culture and push for freedom back home. It played a significant role in the Irish-American community and was connected to broader efforts for Irish independence during the early 20th century, including supporting the Irish Republican Army (IRA).
