Circuit City was a large American electronics retailer that sold consumer electronics, appliances, and related products. Founded in 1949, it grew to become one of the top destinations for buying TVs, computers, audio equipment, and gadgets. The company aimed to provide a wide selection, competitive prices, and knowledgeable staff to help customers make informed choices. However, it faced strong competition from online retailers and big-box stores, leading to financial struggles.
