Christian I of Denmark

Christian I of Denmark was a king who ruled from 1448 to 1481. He was the first monarch of the House of Oldenburg and significantly impacted Scandinavia. Under his reign, he expanded Denmark's territory and established the Kalmar Union, which united Denmark, Norway, and Sweden under one crown. Christian I promoted trade and strengthened the monarchy, but his rule also faced challenges, including conflicts with Sweden.
