Choice Paradox

The Choice Paradox refers to the idea that having too many options can make decision-making more difficult and sometimes less satisfying. When people are presented with many choices, they often experience increased anxiety, decision fatigue, and the fear of missing out. This overabundance can lead to regret or dissatisfaction, even after making a choice, because individuals worry they might have made a better decision elsewhere. In essence, while choice is generally positive, an excess of options can overwhelm us, hindering our ability to select confidently and enjoy our choices fully.
