Chiroubles

Chiroubles is a small appellation in the Beaujolais wine region of France, known for producing red wines primarily from the Gamay grape. Located on steep hills, Chiroubles benefits from a unique terroir, which gives its wines a delicate, floral character with bright red fruit flavors, often described as elegant and refreshing. The wines are typically lighter and more aromatic compared to those from other Beaujolais regions. Chiroubles is one of the ten "crus," or recognized high-quality wine areas, within Beaujolais, celebrated for its ability to age well while maintaining vibrant freshness.
