Chiron

Chiron is a celestial body classified as a centaur, which is a hybrid between an asteroid and a comet, orbiting the Sun between Saturn and Uranus. Discovered in 1977, it has a unique, irregular orbit and is larger than most asteroids but smaller than planets. Chiron is of particular interest in astronomy and mythology; it is named after a wise centaur from Greek mythology known for his healing abilities. In astrology, Chiron represents the concept of the “wounded healer,” symbolizing personal growth through confronting and healing one’s emotional or psychological wounds.
